Every changed cell. Nothing guessed.
Tally Delta compares two Excel ranges and shows you exactly what was added, removed, or modified — without leaving the workbook, and without a single value assumed on your behalf.

Two tabs open side by side. A VLOOKUP that almost works. An hour spent scrolling fifty columns, hoping you didn’t miss the one cell that changed. Reconciling two versions of the same report is a task every analyst knows by feel — and dreads by name.
Three steps. No macros, no scripts.
Select Before Data
Highlight your first dataset in Excel, header row included.
Select After Data
Highlight the version you’re comparing it against.
Run Tally Delta
One click. Every added, removed, modified, and unchanged record, written straight back into your workbook.
Built for reports that don’t line up perfectly.
Real spreadsheets are messy. Columns get renamed, duplicates need summing, and one dataset uses lowercase where the other doesn’t. Tally Delta expects all of it.
Renamed columns, matched by hand
“Gross Pay” became “Gross Salary”? Map it once and Tally Delta remembers for the rest of the comparison.
Grouped totals & reconciliation
Sum duplicate rows by ID and see the net change accounted for — additions, removals, and edits, reconciled.
Case-insensitive by default
“bob smith” and “BOB SMITH” aren’t treated as a change, unless you want them to be.
Cell-level highlighting
On a wide, modified record, only the fields that actually changed are marked — not the whole row.
If Tally Delta can’t be certain, it says so. It never guesses.
Ambiguous dates are flagged, not resolved. A value like 01/02/2026 could mean two different days. Tally Delta won’t pick one for you.
Every conversion needs your say-so. Comparing text as a number, or a serial as a date, only happens after you confirm it — field by field.
Nothing leaves your workbook.
Tally Delta runs entirely inside Excel. There is no server processing your data, no upload, and nothing cached in the cloud — the comparison happens on your machine, the same place your spreadsheet already lives.
